It is perfect for those who want a touch of greenery without the commitment of a living plant.

Where to place it

Your preserved greenery does not need light to live, as it does not carry out photosynthesis. It can be placed in any environment, including windowless spaces such as offices or windowless bathrooms. However, avoid direct exposure to sunlight or very hot halogen lamps, as UV rays can fade the pigments over time.

No water, no maintenance

One of the wonders of preserved greenery is that it does not require watering. Never wet it, as water can dissolve the pigments and irreversibly damage the moss or lichen. It requires neither fertilizer nor repotting, making it an ideal solution for those seeking beauty without the upkeep.

Room temperature and humidity

Preserved greenery adapts perfectly to indoor environments, with an ideal temperature between 15 and 25 degrees Celsius. It can tolerate minimum temperatures of 5 degrees and maximum temperatures of 35 degrees. Ideal humidity is between 40% and 70%, typical of domestic environments.

What to avoid

Avoid placing your preserved greenery in very humid environments, such as bathrooms with showers, or outdoors. It must not come into contact with water, solvents, or underfloor heating. Daily temperature fluctuations can compromise its durability.

Durability and care over time

When kept under the right conditions, preserved greenery can retain its rich colors for 7–10 years. It does not have an expiration date, but you will notice it has reached the end of its life when the pigments begin to fade. To remove dust, use a hair dryer on the cool-air setting, held 30 cm away, avoiding direct contact with the fibers.
