The right location
The peacock plant prefers bright, indirect light. It is important to avoid direct exposure to sunlight, which could damage its delicate leaves. Place it in a well-lit room, but away from windows exposed to direct sunlight.
When and how to water it
During summer, we recommend watering the peacock plant every 7 days, while every 14 days is sufficient in winter. Be sure to water thoroughly, but let the soil dry slightly between waterings. A good way to check the soil moisture is to insert a finger into the substrate.
Temperature and humidity
This plant thrives in an environment with temperatures between 18 and 25 degrees Celsius. It does not tolerate temperatures below 10 degrees. Ideal humidity is around 40% to 60%, so it is advisable to maintain a moderately humid environment.
The right fertilizer
During the active growing season, in spring and summer, we recommend fertilizing your peacock plant every 30 days with a balanced liquid fertilizer. This will help the plant maintain its vitality and health.
