The right location

Aglaonema prefers bright, indirect light, but can also tolerate lower-light conditions. This makes it ideal for rooms with moderate natural light. Avoid exposure to direct sunlight, which could damage the leaves.

When and how to water it

Water your Aglaonema when the soil feels dry to the touch. During summer, this might mean watering every 7 days, while every 14 days will be sufficient in winter. Check the soil moisture by inserting a finger into the substrate to make sure it is not still damp.

Temperature and humidity

Aglaonema thrives in temperatures between 18°C and 24°C, but can tolerate a wider range, from 15°C to 30°C. Ideal humidity is around 40% to 60%, so it is important to maintain a moderate level of humidity in the air.

The right fertilizer

During the active growing season, in spring and summer, we recommend fertilizing Aglaonema every 30 days with a balanced liquid fertilizer. This will help the plant maintain lush, healthy foliage.

The pot and soil

Use well-draining potting soil made of peat and perlite to ensure good drainage and prevent waterlogging. The ideal soil pH is around 6. Repot the plant when the roots begin to emerge from the pot's drainage holes.
